Prickly Foods started with a reconnection of two friends, trying to make products using Southwest native plants and culturally relevant ingredients to Indigenous communities in our region. Our motto is “good food, many people” a simple line to guide us in creating products that are delicious, refreshing, and accessible to all kinds of eaters.

FaceMojo Designs is a business located on the Torres Martinez Indian Reservation specializing in creative design and custom production services. Our offerings include fabric design services, sticker printing, vinyl decal printing, custom bag design and manufacturing, and accessory design and production. In addition, we supply bulk fabric from leading quilting brands to support makers, designers, and sewing enthusiasts.

Located on the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation, the DX Ranch is home to DX Beef. Surrounded by the vast prairie of nature, culture, and opportunity, DX Beef wants to connect consumers with the landscape that the Lakota stewards have maintained for millennia. Our hope is to give back to the communities of the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in the regenerative manner that our ancestors gave back to the land.

The culture, tradition, and story of our industry should be affixed alongside that of our food. A passion to help consumers reconnect with their food source is what drives DX Beef. Consumers have the opportunity to be as connected to their food source as desired. We hope to offer an insight in where our beef is raised, who has cared for the animals, how our beef gets from pasture to plate, and the Lakota culture that carries DX Beef through every step of the process.

Achukma Pecan Oil in Coleman, Oklahoma, began when father and son Dan and Mark Hamilton, members of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, needed to figure out a new business plan. With help from the Choctaw Nation Agriculture Outreach Program, in 2016 Achukma Pecan Oil was in business. Achukma is a Choctaw word suggested by Mark’s mother meaning “pure.” Their oil is 100-percent pure virgin, and is cold pressed similarly to how olive oil is made.

Founder and CEO, Michelle Huff launched Bare Beans in 2018 to bring value-added benefits to a crop already growing on her family’s farm. During her 18 years in the fresh produce industry, Michelle recognized the increasing demand for value-added foods. When she looked at the crops her fourth-generation farmer husband was growing, beans stood out as the opportunity that became Bare Beans.

Since 2017, Lummi Seafood Market provides fresh and frozen local and domestic seafood products. We also provide speciality and unique foods on seasonal occasions. The market provides a venue for local fishermen to sell their catch, while providing affordable seafood products to the public. Majority of our products are proudly caught by Indigenous-Native American people from around the Pacific Northwest.

Situated on 10 acres of till-free land, Gray Fox Farm provides an abundance of harvest, featuring over 1000 blueberry bushes, strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, plums, apples, figs and pears. In addition, GFF provides honey, jams, jellies, soups, sauces, fermented raw foods, and duck and chicken eggs to further supplement these offerings.

Busy Family Farm is located on five acres in rural East Lewis County, Washington with an acre in actual production and having capacity for expansion. Nobel fir Christmas tree plantings are scheduled to increase in 2022. Busy Family Farm is less about volume and more about growing a variety of the freshest produce (that seasonally varies).
